Audiological Evaluation-

Using state of the art equipment we can perform a comprehensive hearing exam including pure-tone and bone conduction testing as well as speech testing.

Earwax Removal-

Ear wax typically clears itself from the ears, but in some instances it can build up and need to be removed by a professional. If we are able, we will clear your ears, but if the blockage is too advanced, we have several ENT doctors we recommend who can treat this problem.

Evaluation for Hearing Aids-

If your hearing test reveals a permanent loss, hearing aids may be recommended. Your specialist may explain what sounds you have difficulty hearing, and what hearing aids can do to help with this loss. Your specialist will help you choose the best hearing aids style, features, and level of sophistication based on your degree of hearing loss, lifestyle, and financial circumstances.

Hearing Aid Dispensing-

Once you have selected your hearing aid, and order will be placed, and once they arrive, your hearing professional will program them, based on a prescription, to meet your hearing needs. The specialist will explain how to use the devices, how to put them in your ears and remove them, how to change or charge batteries, and how to care for and clean the devices.

Hearing Aid Repair and Maintenance-

Hearing aids are comprised of tiny electrical components that may experience wear and tear over time. If this is the case, you'll likely need to visit your specialist to have the problem assessed. Whether it's simply due to aging or the units have been exposed to moisture, excessive wax, debris, or physical damage, you'll want your hearing specialist to evaluate the extent of repairs need. Many issues can be resolved in house, but in some cases the devices will need to be returned to the manufacturer for repair.
